Medicare changes dialysis reimbursement to favor home dialysis

On July 10, 2019, President Trump announced that HHS / Medicare would change dialysis reimbursement to favor home dialysis instead of in-center hemodialysis. Medicare projects 80% of kidney failure patients to receive either a home dialysis or a transplant within the next 5 years.
