The current administration is seeking to change the Medicare reimbursement scheme to favor affordable home dialysis. If implemented as proposed, this should favor Simergent’s Archimedes technology (currently in development) over traditional in-center hemodialysis and over currently available automated peritoneal dialysis systems in the US.
